How does it work?

Wind Element will work as a co-operative. The rationales for this co-operative are;

• The objectives the Government are to increase Renewable energy to 10% by 2010 and 20% by 2020.
• The inequality of having a wind turbine on your doorstep and not making any money from this wind turbine.
• A concept of having the prosperity of a local community being put ahead of corporations.

The members of the co-operative shall be members of the public with people living within a 50 mile radius given a priority if the scheme is over-subscribed. Each share shall be worth £1, the minimum investment is £250 and the maximum is £20,000.
